Book club tonight!

Tonight will be the first meeting for Book Club.  We will be choosing books and meeting dates, so be sure to come if you can!  It will be at the home of Stephanie Boyd (632 Sandhill Ct.). See you tonight at 8:00 PM!

Book Club **time change**

I was just reminded that Stake Temple week is September 20-24, and so we will need to reschedule our meeting. I know that September 28 does not work for several people, so to keep it on a Wednesday I am proposing a change to this Wednesday, September 14. I'm so sorry about the confusion and date-changing.

I'm hoping you can still make it this Wednesday to my home! If not, please feel free to email or call me with book suggestions or if you would like to host a particular month.

Book club meeting

We will be holding our first book club meeting on September 21 at Stephanie Boyd's home (632 Sandhill Ct.) at 8:00 PM. We'll be discussing future books to read, and enjoying treats with new and old friends. See you there!

Book Club is still on for tomorrow night! However, we will be meeting at Tara Fisher's house. Address 658 E. 1470 S. If you read Shabanu or even if you haven't yet-please come! We know there are now book clubs in each individual ward, but think it would be great to still continue this one so that the whole neighborhood can still be involved together! Comment if you would like to continue with the neighborhood book club or if you will be able to make it tomorrow so we can see how much interest there is! Thanks :)

It was a lot of fun to get together again and get some good ideas for books to read this year! There were a lot of great suggestions. We ended up choosing books for the next 5 months, respectively.

Book Club resuming!

Hi all!  Now that all the changes with wards have taken place, it's high time we start meeting again!  And I definitely think we should all stay together if possible.  I love meeting with you guys!

Emily Morrise has suggested that we move the night to the 4th Thursday of the month, still at 8 PM.  This would put our first meeting for this year next Thursday, January 27.  We can get together and make a plan for books and talk about any books we have read over the holidays.  And chat over a small treat, of course.  :-)

How does the new day sound?  And is anyone interested in hosting next Thursday?

Hi fellow readers. I was just wondering if we are continuing to read books and meet to discuss. I know we took a break for the holidays but did we have a book chosen for January? If not are there any suggestions? I can come up with a few ideas if not... so we can start meeting again.
